These are authors whose first (or second) books have made me anxious to read their next. I think they’re worth watching.
- Grace Burrowes (Because her characters have a palpably tender connection that feels entirely authentic, and the hero’s brothers made me want to read more.)
2. Olivia Parker (Because the hero fantasized about the heroine in stockings and glasses, and she wrote a first kiss that actually made my stomach do a little flip.)
3. Elizabeth Essex (Not only because she studied Classics and Nautical Archaeology, but also because she wrote a wedding night scene that lasted 50 pages and was worth every word.)
4. Miranda Neville (Because she wrote a series about three sexy bibliophiles, and the heroine’s little sister has me committed until her book comes out in 2012.)
